With Journey, one trainer guides you through both, so nothing gets lost in translation. We already know your dog’s history, your home, and your goals, so when adolescence brings the pulling, the boundary testing, and the selective hearing, we are ready for it instead of starting over. That continuity keeps your momentum going right when it matters most, and it means the habits your dog builds this year are the good ones they carry for the next decade.

Lay the foundation
The emotional core of everything that comes next: confidence, socialization done right, settling in real life, and the real puppy problems (biting, potty training, crate training, sleep). No formal obedience yet, that comes when they are ready.
Build real obedience
On the foundation we already laid together: sit, down, place, leash skills, and recall. We navigate the second fear period and the regression that blindsides everyone, so by month 12 you have reliable real-world obedience and you understand exactly how we got there.
Between phases you get a check-in session to review progress and prep for what is coming, plus direct access to your trainer any time a question comes up, by text, phone, or email.

Most trainers sell programs as standalone units. You finish one, then hunt for the next, explain your dog’s history all over again, and guess wrong about what you need. Journey removes that friction. Before you book
What if my puppy is already over 4 months?+
Journey is designed to start in the puppy phase (under 4 months) so we can lay the foundation from the beginning. If your dog is already older, Launch is the better fit. Book a free evaluation and we will find the right path.
What is included in the annual tune-up?+
One session per year for the life of your dog, yours to use however you need: a refresher on skills that have slipped, help with something new, or a check-in when your dog enters a new life stage. Whatever keeps you and your dog on track.
What if we miss a milestone during Build or Launch?+
Each phase has its own guarantee. We keep working until you get the result: extended homework, an extra support session, and a full refund if effort still does not close the gap. See the “Two guarantees” section above for the full breakdown.
How is Journey different from just booking Build and Launch separately?+
Journey is better value than booking both phases separately, and it adds the between-phase check-in and the lifetime annual tune-ups, which are not available à la carte. Most importantly, committing upfront means we plan the whole year from day one instead of only the phase in front of us. That continuity meaningfully changes what is possible.
What is the daily time commitment?+
About ten to fifteen minutes a day of structured homework, plus the normal care you are already providing. Most clients find it is less work than expected, because having a plan replaces the low-grade anxiety of “am I doing this right?”
